In so doing, our employees constantly improve their knowledge and skills.
Subsidy for offshore operations and meals / meal allowances
Our employees are paid additional allowances for the difficult working conditions when they work offshore. In addition, we offer our employees a lump sum (daily allowance) for external industrial assembly work.
Retirement
Statutory pensions are no longer sufficient for one to meet post-retirement needs. Therefore, provision of occupational pension is an important element to close the pension gap and ensure the financial security of our employees after they have retired. OIS has signed an agreement for deferred compensation with a well-known pension fund. On the basis of this agreement, employees are enabled to make additional savings towards their statutory pension and make income tax and social insurance contributions. OIS GmbH contributes its share to statutory insurance savings. When an employee, for example, pays 100 € towards social insurance, OIS pays out about 120 €. OIS employees are entitled to a company pension and their contributions are protected by law from day one. This applies even when they change employers or become unemployed.
Supplementary Insurances
1. Accident Insurance
An accident can put the livelihood of the family at risk, besides often leading to serious health consequences. For this reason, OIS takes out an additional accident insurance policy for every employee in addition to its employers' liability insurance. This ensures that the employee has additional coverage while they are working at OIS as well as on the way to work.
2. International Health Insurance
Should one fall ill or have an accident abroad, the sick person has to be transported for medical care back to Germany. The necessary repatriation, from a medical perspective, is not covered by public health insurance. For this reason, an additional travel insurance is necessary for all OIS commercial staff that works on building sites abroad, covering these risks among other things.
